It was an experiment to create an alternative boutique experience whereby users unconsciously turn themselves into catwalk models while trying on gorgeous new pairs of shoes.
The boutique is made of series of long linear platforms lit under spotlights. On the other side of the platforms are operable walls made of shoe boxes. With these walls, we remove the usual claustrophobic storage room. The act of getting a new pair of shoes by the sales-(wo)man is largely amplified. Corporate identity is also effortlessly exhibited on these walls. The long glass window next to the parking entrance exhibits what is going on inside the experimental boutique.
